Enjoy banana blossom in a different way. Not in the mood for rice? You can serve the bhajis with pasta or noodles or wrapped in a tortilla or sub. Finely chopped chilli can be added for more heat.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add the banana blossoms, onion, garlic, parsley, shedded pepperoni, chili, salt, pepper and flour. Mix well to combine.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. When hot, add a large spoonful of the blossom mixture and fry for 5-8 minutes until crisp. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with fishball sauce or sweet chili sauce.
